I moved from Washington State to Murphysboro, IL in September 2019. I had never been to Southern Illinois and knew no one in the area. I fell in love with this gorgeous house on Zillow, went into escrow without seeing it in person, quit my job of 10 years and decided to just go for it! YOLO as the millennials say!
